worst hostel stay :(

Liked: minimal, the only positive elements was the bathrooms which were nice and the interaction i had with the front desk member when leaving
Disliked: this was the worst hostel i’ve ever stayed at, i don’t have high standard and have stayed in over 20 across different continents. there were so many gross smells like BO and just felt so unclean. most people staying here are not backpackers or travelers but rather sketchy squatters that are living here. the location isn’t great as it’s over a club/ bar and there’s often lots of noise especially at night. additionally i was in the top bunk and there was no railing for safety OR ladder to claim up. also the rooms look like they don’t get cleaned at all, i dropped something under the bed and went to look and it was disturbing. the fan in the room had various clumps and layers of dust and dirt on it too. do not stay here, you can find much better.

Disliked: Place stunk from everyone’s shoes outside of the room. Had to pay a deposit for towels?! Room had no window, had an easily fixable hole in the wall and a dirty vent right above where you sleep. Also there are grills above the doors so you can hear absolutely everything. I know it’s a hostel, but it was just gross.

Satisfied with my stay

Liked: I thought that I was accommodated by friendly people 24/7. Location was great, humming and buzzing
Disliked: I believe some smells could get minimalized by cleaning out ventilation and fixing leaking taps....
