Hotel is 5 minute walk from Liverpool Central and Lime Street. It's in the heart of the city with loads going on and fantastic shopping centres. 2 bars and a restaurant on site and staff very welcoming, friendly and efficient.

Liked: Fantastic location right in the heart of the city. Staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms are basic but clean and comfy, plus on site bars and restaurants. Lots going on at the hotel but very efficient.
Disliked: No bad points.

Passable

Liked: The location was pretty good. The price for a city hotel was cheap. The reception staff were excellent.The second room we were given was comfortable although shabby.It's not too bad for the price.
Disliked: The state of the first room we were given. The rude young man looking after the dinner buffet guests. The tiredness of the decor including cracked windows and, bulbs out.

Pleasant

Liked: Easy and cost effective location for an overnight stay when needing to be close to Liverpool Lime Street for onward travel.
Disliked: The hotel looks really quite tired and needs a good refresh and modernisation. Mattress was extremely and bedroom very outdated and not intuitive in terms of location of light switches and available plugs.

Hotel adelphi

Liked: Location
Disliked: Hotel very run down needs alot of attention especially the windows, which won't open and falling apart. Mattress very uncomfortable and staff miserable, especially on reception. Price reflects all these comments it was the cheapest I could find.

Good location. Very clean rooms....

Liked: It was much better than I expected from reading reviews etc
Disliked: Check in took forever. The young man at the desk was very stressed and you could tell. He wasn’t very friendly

Liked: I didn’t like anything about the property
Disliked: The rooms where very smelly and full of damp the staff are really ignorant
