Britannia Adelphi Hotel

Hotel is 5 minute walk from Liverpool Central and Lime Street. It's in the heart of the city with loads going on and fantastic shopping centres. 2 bars and a restaurant on site and staff very welcoming, friendly and efficient.

Liked: Fantastic location right in the heart of the city. Staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms are basic but clean and comfy, plus on site bars and restaurants. Lots going on at the hotel but very efficient.
Disliked: No bad points.

After reading the reviews I...

Liked: It's in a perfectly central location, very close to the station and around Liverpool center. The staff were kind, polite & helpful. My room was easy to find and very spacious. The bathroom had been recently done so was also nice and clean.It is a great conference space with lots of rooms for presentations, very light and spacious. The staff were really great with having so many people at the conference and were very helpful.
Disliked: The furniture and decor was definitely very dated, one of the beds in the room was very uncomfortable and one of the chairs in the room was falling apart. The window in the bedroom didn't close at all so it was very loud at night due to the closeness of bars/ pubs but I was lucky to have ear plugs which helped.The food was OK, it wasn't great but wasn't terrible. I know quite a few other people, who had come to the conference, had awful rooms including a massive leak that poured into the bathroom of a friend. Staff did help some people change rooms but I know some people couldn't as they didn't have any rooms available.

Good location

Liked: I like the history and the traditional look of the hotel and how it is still maintained as best as possible to show what the rooms etc.... were like many years ago
Disliked: I was pleased with my stay and would go again

Loved Liverpool shame about the...

Disliked: Room was seriously outdated, beds were ancient and very uncomfortable, only new thing was the bathroom which the door hits as you go in very badly positioned, the door to the bedroom was falling off the hinges and there was no tv remote no wifi. The smell in the room suggested it had not been used in months stale and musty. Def would not recommend this place to anyone luckily it was only a 1 night stay.

Liked: We always receive a friendly welcome and our room was just periodically tasteful- looking at the ‘statue exceedingly bare!’
Disliked: We didn’t stay another night!!
