A lovely week in a...
Liked: Very helpful and friendly staff and our rooms were kept particularly clean before and during the stay - the location near the shops, restaurants and beach was perfect. The hotel was a nice size being not that large and so we felt recognised rather than completely anonymous. The room at the front did have a gentle noise of chatter etc from the street below, which we liked. The street in front is mostly free of cars/ vans (apart from an hour or so first thing) and so it feels generally very calm. The balcony had a view of the sea which was amazing - and a nice see breeze. The room was simple and had everything we needed, including a kettle and small fridge.
Disliked: Could have been even better if the room towels were a little softer (I'm being fussy now)

Exceptional
Liked: I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Marbela in Biarritz! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the hotel is perfectly located - just a short walk from the beach and great local spots. One of the highlights was the incredibly friendly and professional woman working at reception- originally from Israel. She made me feel truly at home, always greeting guests with a smile and offering helpful tips with genuine care. Her hospitality really stood out.The breakfasts were absolutely delightful - fresh, varied, and served with love. I’m grateful for such a lovely experience and would happily return. Highly recommended!

Very «correct» for the price....
Liked: Very «correct» for the price. Perfect location exactly where you want to be if you are spending a few days in town, Good responsive service, our aircon did not go below 24 degrees so we got two fans straight away.

A Nice Hotel In The...
Liked: Nice clean property with friendly, professional staff. On the main shopping and restaurant thoroughfare, close to beach area and aquarium. Decent though narrow balcony offering a good view of the local action. Bathroom and shower very good. Please note, if you want peace and quiet then this is not the area for you. It’s bustling and vibrant from early morning until late at night, which was ok for us but might not suit everybody.
Disliked: Lack of power points in room. Only one socket with a 3 point trailing socket coming from it, which was used to power the small fridge and a sidelight. Could do with installing a couple more on each side of the bed. Air condition controls were damaged, meaning it was stuck on full time on one setting and was very noisy during the night.
