Very nice relaxing stay, lovely...

Liked: Beautiful building and extremely central in Bristol City.
Disliked: Nothing, parking was a pain, BUT as it’s a city centre hotel this is to be expected.

Nicely appointed rooms but a...

Liked: Very comfortable bed and luxury bedding. Nice bathroom. Gin is always a nice touch.
Disliked: Always seem to get put in the rooms where you have to traipse through the restaurant. Not great for using the spa or gym. It’s quiet in that wing but the carpet is knackered and there’s some damp smells.

We liked it overall but...

Liked: Lovely staff and in a very central location. Room was generous size, warm and comfortable
Disliked: Only the noise. Expected noise from bars next door, particularly at the weekend (and was not disappointed) but this was supplemented by extremely noisy bins being moved early every single morning. Would recommend trying to avoid a room overlooking Small Street if possible.
