No nonsense, lovely staff. Easy...

Liked: Excellent location, historical building with photos and articles framed along walls showing history of local area. Clear communication, simple booking and friendly staff. Only noise came from outside city traffic. Clean and simple. Comfortable for a short stay.
Disliked: Slight scent in bathroom. Old, but clean!

Liked: The people were friendly. It might not look like much from the outside but it was very comfortable and warm especially in the winter. I really liked the history on the walls within the building.
Disliked: We had a couple fighting above us one night which really scared my daughters. Sounded like it was really bad to the point where I nearly called the police. I did mention this to the front receptionist the next day, but they advised they had checked out which gave my girls some piece of mind.
