Disliked: We had a cold shower on the first day. Found it tricky to lock our room. No safe for passports

Liked: Good location and cool,historic building. Staff were great. Access to full kitchen. Laundry available. Clean and tidy.
Disliked: Bathrooms were small and took a bit to get used to

Liked: Location was great and I found the shared bathroom to be very clean which surprised me.
Disliked: The room I stayed in had dirty pillowcases, although it looked like the bed had been freshly made. I felt a little unsafe as a solo female in the back downstairs section.

Liked: Close to the entertainment precinct. Not too far of a drive to the city. Walking distance from restaurants and cafes.
Disliked: Unfortunately, the building is old and a quite a bit run down. If you are looking for a quiet place this is not it, can hear all the comings and going of other patrons. Could be a little cleaner, beds not so comfy and bedding quite old.

Great Value for money for...

Liked: Easy within a minute of where I wanted to be, easy to navigate to local amenities and cafes. Comfortable, basic single room was all I needed, friendly staff.

Liked: Position good near Chinatown.
Disliked: Noisy. It’s cheap so the clientele a bit rough.An aggressive street person using front garden after hours.
