Disliked: Unfortunately toilet wash basins ( 3 actually) had no soap in the dispensers. Frustrating looking for a dispenser with soap.

Disliked: I was not told about the wifi. Young girls working in the reception office did not make much of an effort when I checked in.

Liked: Good location from city centre.
Disliked: Poor cleanliness in room and unhygienic facilities. Uninterested and unhelpful staff.Daily parking issues, 10 spaces for 50 rooms. No access for emergency services if needed. Bedsheets and blankets had holes in.

Liked: The receptionist was excellent! Very friendly. The place is old but I don't think the rooms are worth more than $100 per night
Disliked: The place is old and I understand that so I don't think the rooms are worth more than $100 per night. There was no parking left and the parking space is very narrow. We were told we could park behind the last car on the driveway but that would've blocked all access in and risked our rental being damaged so we paid for street parking. The 2 single bed room with bathroom was very small. The shower door needs repair. The extractor fan wasn't plugged in so I assumed it wasn't working and the air conditioner very noisy but effective for cooling the hot room.

It was terrible

Liked: Nothing. My mum was on a walker and had to struggle up and down stairs. It’s not helpful when reception is up stairs.
Disliked: The staff were not friendly or helpful and did not have any empathy to our situation. They were very rude. I booked my mum in so she could be closer to the PA hospital because Dad had a massive stroke. We don’t live anywhere near Brisbane. The guy I was talking to about checking mum out a little bit late (because I wasn’t going to make it there in time as I was a 2 hour drive away and got stuck in traffic) was so rude and argued with me and said they won’t change their rules to suit my situation. That made me so mad. I didn’t choose my situation. I didn’t ask my dad to have a stroke. These people don’t know how to run a business as every other place mum has stayed has showed empathy and compassion. I have been telling everyone I know don’t ever stay at Brisbane Manor.

Disliked: I didn’t feel safeI couldn’t get a car park and the receptionist couldn’t even tell me where I could park as I was not familiar with the area it would have been very helpful. The lock on the door between the rooms did nothing. A single mother with 2 young girls, we did not feel safe
