Liked: Room was fantastic! Always friendly staff and breakfast is superb with plenty of choice and freshly cooked.
Disliked: Its a shame the hotel doesn't do other food outside of breakfast

Liked: Perfect location for all the town attractions. Looks really smart with lovely views over the Firth of Clyde. A nice little bathroom.
Disliked: I think it is the most expensive hotel in town, and it certainly looks the business from the outside. But the room was disappointingly small(103) and not very appealing, in the decor and the facilities. There was no water or tissues provided, just a basket of snacks available to buy. Breakfast was only average with a wonderful choice of poached egg dishes but not much else. No restaurant and a limited bar offering.A bit disappointed, tell

A clean, comfortable hotel with...

Liked: All staff were friendly and welcoming. The whole place was spotless and service was excellent. Although very central to the town, ferry etc the hotel was quiet and peaceful. Lounge and breakfast area was very comfortable. Breakfast menu was good and enjoyed the food. Room was bright and airy and the bed was super comfortable. Had a great night’s sleep. Plenty of hot water and soft fluffy towels in the bathroom. Plenty of tea, coffee etc. Large car park, lovely garden and didn’t need to check out until 11 am. Couldn’t fault it. Will definitely go back and will recommend to friends and family.

Disliked: We booked room with Seaview but there was a tiny, narrow corridor within the room which looked on to seafront, found this a bit disappointing.
