Otherwise nice hotel and location

Liked: Breakfast very good in the lovely restaurant
Disliked: Disappointed we couldn’t sit in the restaurant/ bar for drinks. Yet it was acceptable to sit in the restaurant for breakfast. Don’t understand the logic. Receptionist has to collect drinks from the bar / restaurant then carry to bedrooms

Liked: Mary is top notch re info, friendly, warmth, hospitable. Long wait for breakfast but got to enjoy the view. Staff v. helpful.

Disliked: Bin in toilet full from previous guests, very small room, very hot, small double bed, no view from window blocked with privacy glass, not ideal very enclosed

Liked: Nice and modern and good location.
Disliked: Couldn’t use bar when that was the plan to relax at the hotel bar. Waited 50 mins for breakfast and was very greasy.

Would not book again

Liked: Room was clean and comfortable location was good, car park big, reception staff were nice and friendly
Disliked: Took over an hour to get a cooked breakfast which was terrible think the chef gave up with all the complaints about the food , no pastries left we went down at 9:30 wasn't topped up juice wasn't topped upWas unable to use the bar as there was a wedding on but could order drinks to our room which I think it should be advertised before I book a room as I'm not allowed to use the facilities so basically you have to stay in your room if there's something on. For that reason I wouldn't return

Disliked: Very small beds.

Great location

Liked: Decor was lovely staff very welcoming
Disliked: Breakfast wast good bacon very fatty fried egg rubber

Brisbane House Sea View Room

Liked: Had the large room with sea view, cracking very large room, large bathroom with shower and bath. Newly decorated since last time we have been. Staff great, nothing a hassle. Perfect.
Disliked: Everything great, just a bit disappointed they no longer have restaurant for evening meals, but other than that great. Definitely come back for 4th visit.
