Brighton Harbour Hotel & Spa

Pleasant

Liked: Room had a good view of the beach. The hotel main reception staff were polite.Location is right in town, making it a good option for seeing Brighton.When we did get to use the spa early morning, the sauna and hamam were good.
Disliked: Room wasn't particularly clean - the previous visitor's had left medication & receipts that were not cleaned away. Hair etc had not been hoovered up.We couldn't use the spa in the evening as they said it was too busy, but there was also no option to book a slot. Spa staff were unhelpful.

Liked: Unfortunately for £170 I did not qualify for breakfast!!
Disliked: The room i was allocated was so small i could barely get my suitcase in.There are a few complaints about this room, it was a single, you really need to stop charging £170 for a 8ft by 6ft room.It was ridiculous. The nice girl on reception changed me once I made a complaint.

Disliked: Unfortunately the room smelt really bad.As soon as I walked in there was a strong damp dog smell. I think it was the carpets?I was too tired to change rooms but did inform the hotel in the morning. The other problem was the window didn't open and there was no fan available. So I didn't sleep that well, being too warm. Unfortunately this room was certainly not up to the high standards I'm used to in other harbour hotels iv stayed. Cleanliness should be a bare minimum. Not what I expect when paying £108 pound for a single room.

Liked: location, food, bar stafff and atmosphere around the building
Disliked: poor wifi in the room due. i asked reception and they advised that it is because the hotel was fully booked with too many people. Now that shouldn't be the costumer's problem especially how much the hotel costs per night. please do better as if i didn't have unlimited data i couldn't have been able to connect to the tv or work laptop. Being advised to come down to the bar isn't ideal as i want my own privacy for the room i paid for. that was truly disappointing sorry.......

Overpriced inadequate accommodation.

Liked: Location for the event attending.
Disliked: Public areas scruffy almost dirty. Layout poor. Windows filthy outside. Poor room, very small. Bed felt tilted to one side. No wardrobe, only hanging space behind door. Very poor room for the money.

Can't wait to come

Liked: We didn't use the restaurant which we regret because everythi ng else was amazing
