Let down at what should...

Liked: The location of the property was very good and right on the sea front. The beds themselves were very comfortable.
Disliked: The staff did not seem to care about helping you when you had a problem. Check the room that you get before you settle in as they gave us the wrong room and then when prompted about it refused to do anything about it. I also sent an email to the manager about this and was completely ignored. Bar was not staffed correctly so you were left waiting to order for a while to the point we actually gave up a few times. There were also many little flies buzzing around the fruits used in the drinks. The rooms were not kept up to the standard you would expect of this type of hotel - tv on at angles, small rooms even when you have upgraded them specifically, dirty black marks on all the walls, skirting boards and windows. Cracked tiles in the bathroom and this was just what we found in our own room let alone the work in the general hotel. The spa was a massive let down and honestly I wouldn’t recommend even trying. The pools were tiny and was freezing cold, the “hydrotherapy” pool was just a massive jacuzzi and not as a hydrotherapy pool should be. There were 2 jacuzzis for the whole hotel and both of these had a lovely yellow scum in the bubbles.

A great visit to our...

Liked: We’ve stayed here on a number of occasions which shows we obviously enjoy staying here. It’s modern quirky, comfy beds and pillows. Great bar and restaurant and the staff are always helpful and smiling. Lovely to have a proper hairdryer available and of course, the complementary gin and tonic is fabulous.
Disliked: A room below us had a door that banged repeatedly, heavily and loudly during the night. We did raise this with the Reception staff on checking out. It’s a minor issue but it did wake us up and made the whole room shake, so a bit of a nuisance.

Disappointing.

Liked: Location is great. My bed was really comfortable
Disliked: Overpriced for the level of service. Staff were either really accommodating or disinterested. At times didn’t feel welcome. Club sandwich was awful.Seating in the bar was torn. Not really the level I was expecting. In hospitality I think guest should fell welcome and special. Didn’t feel that at all.Definitely not staying there again.

Great location and the comfiest...

Liked: Incredible location. Room was spotless, complimentary gin in the room was a nice touch. Bed was extremely comfy, didn’t want to get up. Air con was good, and the room was very quiet despite the busy street outside. Bottled water and milk for coffee machine provided, as well as iron and hair dryer so we couldn’t have asked for anything more.
Disliked: TV wouldn’t allow us to sign into any apps due to no internet - even though it said the tv was connected. Pump for the conditioner in the bathroom didn’t work and as it was attached to the wall it was unable to be used. Hottest temperature on the bath wasn’t very hot, so the bath wasn’t as hot and therefore nice as it could have been. Robes provided were not size inclusive so we were unable to use. We arrived a little early and asked if there was any chance of early check in, and were bluntly told by reception “you were told check in is 3?” which felt a little blunt and rude. Sometimes we were left waiting a long time for the lift, due to it being so small and slow.
