Enjoyed the stay but wasn't...
Disliked: The drinks are very expensive. We held a party with about 60 guests and were embarrassed at what they were being charged for drinks, plus they were also charged a service charge at the bar. Totally unacceptable. This will deter me from considering this Hotel in the future.

Fab stay
Liked: 1/ I enjoyed the pool and sauna.2/ The room had a trouser press, t.v. kettle, coffee, tea bags, biscuits, and wonderful body lotion in the bathroom. 3/ Breakfast was lovely with a full English breakfast, cereal, toast, fruit pastries, and mini cakes on offer.
Disliked: 1/ It is a late check-in time at 3p.m.2/ The pool is vacated by 6 p.m. to accomodate children, which I understand as the pool area is small.

superb facilities, calming and enjoyable...
Liked: we enjoyed the whole experience including the sp, breakfast and the ambience. The staff were excellent friendly and helpful. The room was very quiet, clean.
Disliked: We tried to order food from the restaurant but there was no response on the phone, despite the time being around d5pm. The restaurant is meant to be open upto 10pm. We rang several times until the phone cut off. We tried the reception but it also was not answered. We were forced to order food on "Just Eat" app.

never ever use it agfain...
Liked: we booked with our young children after travelling all the way down from Scotland to a family wedding - once at the hotel in the morning advised that our children were only allowed in the pool between 8am-10am and also in the evening between 6pm-8pm
Disliked: that the staff blatantly refused to allow our children in the pool

Pleasant Spa Hotel
Liked: The Superior room booked was large, very clean and well-equipped.The food in the restaurant, both breakfast and dinner was very good.Quiet room despite being close to motorway.
Disliked: Room lighting was somewhat dingy. If soft lighting is fine, but for reading in bed a much brighter light is necessary for old eyes. Many hotels now provide individual LED adjustable lights that provide a good directional light source without disturbing the other occupant of the bed.The prices in the bar were very high - £15 a pint of ale (compared to London top price of £9), £5 a bottle of a soft drink, both purchased at the bar, yet a 10% Service Charge added on top, if signed to your room.
