overall a great time with my two Grandchildren 18 and 16

Liked: Breakfast good, dining Room decor beautiful. the view Perfect. Close to everything downtown historic area, riverwalk, Loved the architecture of the homes and businesses Opportunities for antiquing. Enjoyed the Civil War Park.
Disliked: the Bathroom: room 224 pretty disgusting...bathtub hole in end by the showerhead matt in tub adhered to bottom of tub. I was aware of Construction in progress.

Liked: Very nice room, was recently refreshed/renovated. Good linens including a fluffy comforter. Breakfast was very limited but adequate. Can't beat the view from the dining room with outdoor seating.
Disliked: The hotel was obviously under going renovation, but there was no work activity during our stay over the weekend. I'm not sure if the pool was open though it was too cold to swim anyway.

Disliked: The staff are not educated about service animals and would not let me into the breakfast room with my dog. The hotel looks tired and worn out.
