Do not recommend!!!

Liked: Location was fine
Disliked: Breakfast dreadful and had to pay extra for inedible bacon sandwich on a dirty table . Shower hardly worked at all . Bedside light worked from switch in hall !!!!

Very unsatisfactory.

Liked: Room wasn't hovered ' no plug in the sink, towel rail not working
Disliked: Location, my daughter lives in port sunlight, that's the only reason I stay there.

Liked: Easy check inn very convenient

Shabby but not chic. Food...

Liked: Dinner was tasty but took 45 minutes to arrive. Breakfast was good but took 20 minutes to arrive
Disliked: I was ignored by a member of staff whilst I waited to check in as he passed reception 3 times. As he passed the fourth time I asked him if someone was available to check me in. He seemed somewhat reluctant but did find someone. The entire inn is pretty run down with threadbare carpets the most obvious sign. Flooring was in poor condition throughout. It would appear that an attempt has been made to smarten the place up by painting window frames and door surrounds with white paint, but no preparation work had been done beforehand as dust and hairs were trapped beneath the daubed paint. Service in bar for dinner and in restaurant for breakfast was very slow, but food was good when it finally arrived. Other patrons remarked on how long service took.

Disappointing

Liked: The staff are really lovely. Emma looked after me when unfortunately I needed to change my room. Thankyou so much Emma! Shanny looked after me at breakfast, we had a lovely chat. Thankyou Shanny! I found all the staff friendly and helpful.
Disliked: I found the menu very limiting. As a vegetarian there were only a couple of choices. Where is the choice of salads and vegetables? The flaming grill menu was disappointing to me.

Nice stay thou

Liked: Spacious room
Disliked: The guttering outside window was broke, so the rain dripping down kept me awake most of the night

A nice little hotel with...

Liked: Excellent breakfast. Room ok, bed a bit hard but that’s personal preference. Staff were lovely and looked after us.
Disliked: Nothing, maybe carpet in bedroom a bit tatty but room was clean.

Liked: We were a group of nine pensioners /Broke down on motorway and held up for 5 hoursArrived hotel late(midnight) but all in place for our visit by hotel staffwell done Missed dinner obviously but good breakfastThankyou
