Grasmere is a perfect place...

Liked: Quieter area yet still central for Lake District - nice town to stay in. Also liked the system for booking into breakfast where you choose a time and cooked breakfast option night before which results in very efficient breakfast next morning. Chef named Justice made a beautiful cooked breakfast. Lovely staff member Mohit also serving breakfast was really lovely to chat with. So friendly.

Excellent facility for a short...

Liked: Good location, very clean and excellent hospitality
Disliked: Few extras in the room such as tissue box, bag rack would have been useful.

Liked: Good selection for breakfast, great location. Staff professional and friendly. Comfortable bed. Loved the idea of being adults only. Would return.
Disliked: Glass panel in the bathroom door inappropriate lacking privacy, bathroom mirror was too far away from the sink, easily rectified with installing a flexible shaving mirror. Plug in the sink kept dismantling. More selection of drinks from the bar would be good and with displayed prices, only wine prices were displayed. Also, a selection of bar snacks would be nice.

Scones were a hit! Superb...

Liked: Excellent location, lovely accommodation, very welcoming & nothing any trouble. They thought of everything to make experience memorable.
Disliked: Nothing really but if few more cooling fans to be available on hot nights. Unable to open a window only door on downstairs room friends stayed. Upstairs room with windows open needed a fan.

Liked: this small hotel was excellent. katie & rheian was just the best we could have wished for from morning till night . we felt so at home . this hotel is a hidden gem with the best location & staff . we will be back fromscotland . breakfast from pantry . afternoon tea. the little bar for a night cap . cant praise it enough x
