Comfortable and clean accommodation in...

Liked: Our room was comfortable and clean with a beautiful view over parkland and water. Great location too as we were able to go on a very pleasant walk along the waterfront with lots of interesting information boards on the history of the area (google 'Bongaree Walkabout' for map with information). We also walked across the bridge to the Sandstone Point Hotel for their Bonfire night (bonfires, fireworks, food, and entertainment). Woolworths and an Aldi were within walking distance (about 15 minutes). There was a microwave and fridge in our room. It was easy to get there on public transport from Brisbane (train, then bus), and the fare only cost 50 cents (thank you Brisbane City Council). Our accommodation was about 10 minutes walk from the first bus stop just after the bridge.
Disliked: Reception had quite short hours and was closed when we arrived about 15 minutes before their 2pm check-in time. Traffic noise during the day made sitting outside on the balcony unpleasant, but fortunately it was much quieter at night so didn't interfere with sleep.
