Disliked: The noise from the wedding guests, loud music when trying to get myself and 7 year old daughter to sleep and could hear people up and down the corridor and in and out of rooms. Also, no plugs by the bed

Lovely setting and friendly reception...

Liked: The Location was very peaceful and tranquil with plenty of car parking spaces available. The lady on reception was very welcoming and friendly. Our rooms were ready early and so were able to check in straight away.
Disliked: We stayed in room 109, the water was very hot and miss, one minute it was scalding and then freezing, the hot tap to the sink was very loose and not secure, there were no warning signs regarding the scalding water. At breakfast we were not met by any staff and just sat anywhere, there was a sign advising guests to use a napkin as the plates would be hot however, the hot plate was off and as such the plates were cold. The bacon and hash browns had ran out while we were getting our cooked breakfast at the buffet and we had to wait quite a while before we could get the attention of one of the staff but the items were replaced quickly. We waited at the table for a while before we were asked if we wanted any toast, tea and coffee but once ordered it arrived relatively quickly however, the coffee was so strong it was not drinkable. Would we stay there again? Possibly but our stay was let down by the attention to detail and lack of attentiveness by the breakfast staff and the poor maintenance in the room.
