Pleasant for a one night...

Liked: The room was comfortable although small. We had the carvery in the evening which iwas OK, The staff were friendly and attentive.
Disliked: The breakfast was poor very little fruit available. I had scrambled eggs and mushrooms which were OK but a bit tastless.

Nice hotel and friendly professional...

Liked: Very friendly staff, handy location for West Lancashire and walks on the canal
Disliked: Could improve slightly on cleaning the room

Great stay with lovely staff!

Liked: Breakfast was lovely and staff were super friendly. Rooms were a nice size and a pleasant location.
Disliked: Bed was a little firm, but aside from that the hotel was of great value and very friendly staff.

Excellent!!

Liked: Excellent heritage property that is so well maintained and run by a family. Loved the service by the staff especially Alex and Alison who took care of every detail. Overall, we had a memorable stay at Briars Hall Hotel.
Disliked: Slightly far from city center
