Nice "Alpine" style hotel right...

Liked: Comfy hotel right in the center of Banff with a nice "Alpine" look and feel. The location could not have been better - right in pedestrian only Bear Street with shops and restaurants all around. Our room was spacious and well appointed. Included breakfast was a nice touch.
Disliked: We had no problems from noise, but the supplied earplugs in our room suggest that noise from the street may sometimes be intrusive.

Disliked: prepaid hotel rooms. (charges first). Credit card company rated fraud. Days we stayed is long weekend. It is noisier than we expected. Noise come from outside (no control from hotel) and inside loft area.

Loved the location

Liked: Fantastic location with a great view of the mountains right outside the hotel, and within close walking distance to many restaurants and shops. The staff was very friendly and helpful, offering recommendations on where to eat.

Nice stay.

Liked: Our room was lovely. Very spacious. Nice large king size bed. We had a balcony looking out onto the street. The bathroom was large with a nice big bath the shower and toilet shared the same space. Shower on one side and the toilet behind the door. Breakfast was great.
Disliked: I didn’t like the toilet behind the door. And the toilet is low to the ground. Not good with my knees. Parking was a nightmare with an extra large vehicle. Our vehicle wouldn’t fit in the parking area.
