The Spotlight on Brewhouse Inn and Suites

Historic Charm Meets Music City Energy

Modern comfort inside a Milwaukee icon—Brewhouse Inn and Suites is set within the old Pabst Blue Ribbon Brewery and blends industrial-chic design with cozy, upscale vibes. Just a 12-minute walk from major music venues like the BMO Harris Bradley Center, this hotel is a top pick for fans looking to stay close to the action while soaking in some serious Milwaukee character.

Why Concert-goers love it

You’ll love the location—close enough to stroll to shows, yet tucked away enough to unwind afterward. With a flexible 4:00 PM check-in and chill atmosphere, it’s easy to settle in before the music starts. After the encore, return to a quiet, spacious suite or enjoy a nightcap in the beer garden. Cabs and ride-shares are easy to grab in this well-connected downtown spot.

Who this Hotel is great for

  • Groups of friends will appreciate the roomy suites and on-site pub.
  • Solo travelers can enjoy a safe, central spot with historic charm.
  • Couples love the romantic loft-style rooms and close concert access.
  • Fans seeking quiet recovery will find peaceful rooms with full kitchens.
  • Budget-conscious music lovers enjoy free breakfast and value-packed amenities.

Food and Drink Options

Jackson’s Blue Ribbon Pub serves up classic American fare for lunch and dinner, perfect for fueling up before a show or grabbing a bite post-concert. There’s also in-room dining if you'd rather kick back in your suite. The complimentary breakfast hits the spot after a late night, and the outdoor beer garden is a great place to gather before heading out.

Nightlife Options

While there’s no live music on-site, the hotel puts you within walking distance of Milwaukee’s buzzing nightlife—bars, lounges, and live music joints are all nearby. Jackson’s Pub offers a relaxed vibe with local brews, perfect for a pre-show drink or low-key nightcap.

What People Say

Guests rave about the hotel’s unique historic atmosphere, spacious rooms with kitchens, and the friendly, helpful staff. Many love being close to concerts without the hassle of parking. The free breakfast and location earn consistent praise.

Areas for Improvement

Some guests mention that the industrial vibe means less natural light in certain rooms and that the elevator can be a bit slow. Limited on-site parking fills up quickly, so plan ahead if you're driving.

The Bottom Line

A one-of-a-kind stay in a historic brewery with walkable access to Milwaukee’s top music venues—Brewhouse Inn and Suites is a hit for concert-goers.

Cool spot

Liked: Super cool spot. Somebody spent a lot of money and did a really nice job!
Disliked: The location seems a little bit interesting. We walked around trying to find somewhere to eat on a Sunday night and it was sort of dead. Anyway, we ended up back at the restaurant at the property which was great.

Enjoyable Stay in a Historicalo...

Liked: Very clean, great location with lots around it, love the historic building, staff were very accommodating when our room wasn’t ready for us at check-in (got better room, & free breakfast in exchange), beds and pillows were very comfortable,
Disliked: Nothing!

Decent location with ample street...

Liked: Staff was friendly. Bed was comfortable. Street parking was easy and plentiful once we downloaded the city parking app.
Disliked: AC unit was loud and did not maintain a steady temperature in the room. When the AC was on it was loud and almost too cool and when it cycled off (presumably having reached the desired temperature) it got stuffy quickly. While staff was friendly, the services fell short of what was advertised. They suggested supplies could be easily refilled at the front desk, but the two supplies we ran out of they were also out of at the front desk, and despite offering to bring them to the room, they never came. Also had to request cleaning service, which is fine, but when we did request it and agreed on a day / time, they were a no show so the room was never serviced during our 4 night stay.

A great stay in a...

Liked: We loved the history of the facility and that some of the original walls and pieces are still there. The entire property was clean and the staff was very friendly. We also utilized the free shuttle to the Brewers game which was extremely nice!
Disliked: I booked a queen suite but I’m pretty sure our bed was only a full/double size and was a bit uncomfortable. The free danishes advertised were stale and hard.

Connecting Milwaukee to its history!

Liked: This hotel was converted from the old Pabst brewery and they did a phenomenal job restoring a sense of that history, while providing all the modern conveniences. Photo worthy! Service was very friendly and helpful. Outstanding value!
Disliked: It's a bit of a walk to the Bucks arena, River Walk, and other attractions but there are also restaurants and pubs nearby
