Liked: The breakfast! Fabulous, though the tea they use is not Yorkshire, but the perfect best ever poached eggs and delicious vegetarian sausage made up for it, and Mark was very attentive and cheerful. I didn't feel rushed at breakfast. Mark and Christine are lovely friendly hosts, and my bed was so comfortable, soft and springy just what I like. I cannot carry heavy bags up the stairs, due to my copd, but Mark didn't have to be asked, he took them for me, so thoughtful. I would recommend Breakers.
Disliked: The teabags, but I just went out and bought the kind I prefer, plus some milk for my room. I didn't mention this as I didn't want to sound fussy!The only other things I wasn't happy with were TOTALLY my own fault for not checking when I booked. For instance the flight of steps up to the front door. I should have noticed them in the photo. Steps are really exhausting for me. But my fault. By the same token I should have noticed just how far along the seafront Breakers is. It wouldn't be a problem for any fitter person, and it is right on the seafront. Much too far for me. I had to get taxis, but the taxi drivers were helpful and friendly.I also had not realised that "private bathroom" does not mean the same as"ensuite"...As I only stayed 2 nights to visit my sister, it didn't matter, I just did my ablutions in the very nice bathroom! I loved the bathroom floor tiles by the way.But just think, if I had not made these mistakes I would never have experienced Christine's deliciously perfect poached eggs!

Liked: All round excellent B&B. The check-in, room (room no 6), host, cleanliness, breakfast, location, check-out (everything really) was exceptional. Had a fantastic couple of days.

3 days of calmness

Liked: Mark was an excellent host. Very welcoming. Each morning he had a smile on his face. The cook was really excellent, best scrambled eggs I have ever had. Mark even found my tv remote that I could not. Would love to come back again. Thank you guys
