Other than noise and lighting,...

Liked: It is out of the way. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Those doorman/valets, bless their hearts, they need raises. They were super friendly and went above and beyond to help me since I was limping so badly. I appreciate that the staff got a room for us that I could get in and out of. No stairs for me! We loved every minute otherwise.
Disliked: We could hear every single sound from the room beside us and over us. We could hear the people going up and down the hall. I know it's an older facility. I didn't expect perfection, but surely there is a way to block the noise? The lighting in the rooms is very dark even with the lamps on at night. The bathroom lights, however, were more than adequate. We didn't eat there due to mixed recent reviews and honestly, prices were a bit outside our budget. There is a very nice restaurant about half a mile away that was superb so we ate there during our stay.

This place is a dream

Liked: The fireplace, the alarm clock, the large TV, everything is easy to access, including channel numbers, menus, use amenities, etc. Bathroom was nice. Full length mirror. All the plugs for my electronics. The AC unit works well. Safe was easy to use. Nice little kitchenette and closet. Lots of cool amenities. Booking a trail ride was easy. Single served Keurig. Plenty of bathroom counter space.
Disliked: Need fabric steamers in lieu of iron. :-)

Exceptional

A splendid location, golf course...

Liked: Breakfast was nicely presented, better than average food quality, best breakfast sausage I have had anywhere! The staff, both in the restaurant, desk and vallee seemed exceptionally pleasant and genuinely kind. A golf course offering wonderful vistas, challenge and a mountain resort we found very pleasing. Your location and resort landscape is a true gift from above!
Disliked: The buffet breakfast did not appear to be well heated prior to presentation. Ours turned cold by the time I got back to my table, making the great impression of food quality harder to enjoy. The butter balls were frozen so hard, I broke my toast trying to spread it. Fortunately, our server noticed the dilemma and quickly offered to warm it in the microwave. In general our disappointment was with the interior of the guest room, bath and balcony. Outdated and uncomfortable furniture, old dull paint, tasteless and old flooring, ergonomically comical bathrooms, overall lacking in efficiency and comfort a seasoned traveler should expect from a destination resort.The wall trim and railing areas on the balcony had long ago faded in color with rotten wood and mildew at joints and base. It made us wonder if there were other signs of poor maintenance and yes, one could look around and observe that such a unique and valuable lobby, stairway, floors and expansive venue, was showing its years in general maintenance. I am also showing my years but I don't charge anyone good money to stay with me.
