The Spotlight on Brasstown Valley Resort & Spa

Mountain Views, Modern Comforts, and Music-Ready Vibes

Located in the scenic North Georgia Mountains, Brasstown Valley Resort & Spa offers a peaceful yet polished retreat just a short drive from regional music venues. With its rustic-luxury style, sweeping mountain views, on-site activities, and full-service spa, it’s a perfect home base for concert-goers who want both energy and tranquility.
Each room features free Wi-Fi, a 42-inch flat-screen TV, and thoughtful touches like coffee-making facilities and complimentary toiletries, blending comfort with convenience.

Why Concert-goers love it

Though nestled in a quiet, natural setting, the resort is still within manageable driving distance of live music venues in nearby towns like Hiawassee and Blue Ridge. After the show, come back to the peace of the mountains—no city noise, no stress. The late check-out at 12:00 PM is especially appreciated after a night out. There's ample parking and easy road access, making this a solid option for travelers with their own vehicle.

Who this Hotel is great for

  • Groups of friends – Plenty of space and activities for everyone
  • Solo travelers seeing a bucket-list artist – Relax in nature before and after the show
  • Couples making a weekend of it – Spa, views, and romance
  • Fans wanting a quieter post-concert recovery space – Sleep in, then hit the spa or pool
  • Budget-conscious music fans – Especially when splitting with friends

Food and Drink Options

The on-site Brasstown Dining Room serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner with stunning mountain views. Buffet breakfast is ideal for those late mornings, and dinner options range from hearty mains to lighter bites. Brassies Grill is perfect for casual eats like burgers and salads, and it’s open late enough to grab a bite after the show. While there’s no 24/7 room service, the resort’s two dining venues cover most cravings.

Nightlife Options

This isn’t a party hotel, but that’s the point. For a more laid-back evening, enjoy drinks at Brassies Grill or unwind by the fireplace in one of the cozy lounges. Want more action? Local breweries and bars are a short drive away in nearby towns like Young Harris and Hiawassee.

What People Say

Guests rave about the mountain views, clean, spacious rooms, and the resort’s peaceful atmosphere. The spa and horseback riding are frequent highlights, while many mention how relaxing the setting is after spending time at busy concerts or festivals.

Areas for Improvement

The resort’s location is remote, so you’ll need a car to get to nearby venues or town centers. Also, while the vibe is relaxing, it’s not ideal for those seeking a high-energy nightlife scene on-site.

The Bottom Line

Brasstown Valley Resort & Spa is perfect for concert-goers who want to pair their music experience with mountain serenity, great food, and a little indulgent relaxation.

Liked: The resort was in a nice location. The dirty bed was bad. Noisey rooms and a broken window that would not close on the ground floor were worse.

Staff was very friendly and...

Liked: Although we primarily eat only fish and veggies, We tried the DuckConfit. The meal pared with mashed sweet patoes and asparaus was quite tasty. In addition, the Golf Course is beautiful. So if you're a golfer, you will definitely enjoy this course.
Disliked: Resturant needs flying insect traps, especially in the dining area. A bug/roach crawling from the edge of our table, then up the wall while we were eating. We brought this to the attention of our waiter, and he assured us that he will kill the bug/roach. He did kill the bug /roach upon our departure. Perhaps a 15-20% meal discount would have been a gesture of excellent customer service. Also, consider a hospitality hour with light snacks for all guest from 5-6 pm since everything closes at 8pm
