The Spotlight on Branson Hillside Hotel

Colorful Comfort Near Branson’s Top Venues

Modern yet warm, Branson Hillside Hotel is a vibrant, family-friendly stay located just outside the heart of Branson. Set along State Highway 165, it's a short drive from major attractions like the Branson Landing, Titanic Museum, Showboat Branson Belle, and only 20 minutes from Silver Dollar City. The hotel’s bright decor, full-service dining, and fun amenities like mini-golf make it an upbeat base for music lovers visiting the area.

Why Concert-goers love it

Situated within easy reach of Branson’s most popular concert venues, Branson Hillside Hotel offers a quiet retreat after a loud night out. Free parking means no hassle getting in and out by car, and with check-in at 3:00 PM and check-out at 11:00 AM, there’s enough flexibility to sleep in after a late show. The peaceful surroundings and comfy rooms with flat-screen TVs and single-brew coffee machines make it an ideal post-show recharge spot.

Who this Hotel is great for

  • Groups of friends looking for a casual and convenient base
  • Solo travelers catching a big-name act
  • Couples planning a concert and romantic getaway
  • Fans who want to unwind somewhere quiet after the encore
  • Budget-conscious music fans who still want quality

Food and Drink Options

The on-site Stage Door Restaurant serves up American favorites—from quick bites to full meals—and is open daily (except Mondays and Tuesdays) starting April 1. While there's no 24/7 room service, in-room refrigerators and coffee makers make light snacking easy. With breakfast available and nearby eateries just a short drive away, you won’t go hungry after a late show.

Nightlife Options

While the hotel itself is more about relaxing than partying, it’s just a short drive to Branson’s bustling entertainment district, with live music bars, lounges, and shows. After the concert, head back for a low-key evening or enjoy a post-show meal at the hotel’s own restaurant.

What People Say

Guests praise the clean, spacious rooms, the friendly staff, and the hotel’s quiet atmosphere. Many mention the good value for the price and the convenience of the location. The mini-golf is a fun bonus for those staying a few extra days.

Areas for Improvement

The hotel doesn’t offer late-night dining every day, and being a bit outside the downtown core means you’ll likely need a car or rideshare. Some guests note that the restaurant is closed two days a week, so plan accordingly.

The Bottom Line

Branson Hillside Hotel offers the perfect mix of comfort, quiet, and convenience for music lovers headed to a show in Branson.

Small issues can make a...

Liked: The price was affordable, and the location was perfect for the reason we were in Branson. The beds were comfortable, and we were excited to learn the outdoor pool was open for use!
Disliked: These were small issues, but they could have made our stay better. Also, I know the hotel just changed owners, so there is still some adjusting. First, we didn't receive a welcome letter as there were none left when we checked in - this will be relevant in a second. We didn't have a "do not disturb" sign and our room was never cleaned during our 9 night stay - we had to go to the front desk to get new towels. Apparently, the room would have been cleaned, towels exchanged, and we could have gotten a do not disturb sign - we just had to ask; this was all explained in the welcome letter we never got. Next, with 3 people in the room, we ran out of places to hang towels as there were only 2 hooks. Finally, our toilet got clogged as the pressure when you flushed was non-existent. We told the front desk at 9am, and when we returned to the room at 3pm, it still wasn't fixed, and we ended up having to plunge the toilet ourselves. Again, these are small issues, but would have made the stay a bit better.

It was ok

Liked: Beautiful campus and lobby and rooms.
Disliked: The pool was dirty and the rooms were not cleaned well. For instance, there was dust all over the dressers and finger prints inside the drawers and on top of the desk.

Nice location, but not worth...

Liked: Where it was located.
Disliked: The parking lot, after our concert there was no place to park we had to park in a handicap spot. The room we were in was in the lower floor it smelled pretty bad and musty, the shower was so hard to turn on and when you got in the shower it felt like it was going to cave in, also when you first turned the water on it had a bad smell like sewer. When we first got there we waited a long time for the receptionist to come to the front desk to get us checked in. We asked if there was a breakfast and all she said was we have groups coming in so we should have breakfast. Didn't tell us times or explain anything about it so we didn't even get a breakfast. We weren't told anything about wifi or anything the place offered the guests. Seemed like she wanted to check us in and get us out of the way.
