Disliked: They need to replace the American flags outside that are torn and faded with new ones.

Liked: Very clean and comfortable. We had a beautiful four poster bed in our room and a lovely view of the woods from our window. Very quiet and the staff was friendly. Very good breakfast options for the price point of the hotel in a nice breakfast room with flowers.
Disliked: I was a little worried that there wouldn’t be any human staff there when we arrived because of the advance contact with codes for the front door and an app I was supposed to download that didn’t work. I responded and found out it was an AI assistant and it didn’t understand my question. No worries there was a human being there and I didn’t need the app so it turned out fine. I would have preferred a more private WIFI network requiring a code for better security so didn’t use the WIFI.

Great choice for hotel,
Liked: Friendly staff; nice breakfast room and options and coffee was great. Parking very good; great location near Longwood Gardens. Loved the night light in bathroom - what a clever idea!
Disliked: Walls very thin - person in room next to us had very loud tv. Need more electrical outlets in room. Wi-Fi needs improvement_ content in emails didn’t download.

Liked: Staff member Alex was a one-man whirlwind. In addition to handling duties at the desk, he crawled under our bed to attach an extension cord in order to turn on the bedside lamp. He also handled set-up and take-down of the breakfast.
Disliked: Sal checked us in at the desk upon arrival. He was notably petulant. He assigned us to room 115, a queen room for three nights. The room offered two swivel chairs but NO seating area. Our original booking called for a deluxe queen with sofa and seating area.We had hoped to watch some of the US Open Golf being broadcast on the USA network. A technologically adept staff member came to our room and spent 15 - 20 minutes trying to sort out the programming without success. He apologized saying the room had "no subscription for USA"!The hotels Amenities lists "Guests can opt out of daily cleaning service." We never "opted out" of anything. Had to ask for additional towels. Also says there is a "Hot Tub or Spa", a "Sun Deck" and "Outdoor Furniture". Where were these?
