Liked: It was in a good position for Pickering town
Disliked: The room we had was up 2 flights of stairs on the top floor and it was difficult getting luggage up them as we are 77 and 80 years old

Very worth while considering this...

Liked: The location was perfect for our needs. It was a bonus to be able to park in the grounds. Richard was there as arranged so we were able to settle in easily. Our room had a dressing area, bathroom and bedroom which were all immaculate as was the rest of the property. There were other guests there but we couldn't hear them from our room. The breakfast was exactly as the reviews I'd previously read - excellent choice, plentiful and very tasty. Overall, a lovely experience. We will certainly stay there again if in that area.
Disliked: I had a problem being in room 6 as it is on the second floor - my problem with climbing stairs is my problem not theirs but worth checking, before booking, if you have this problem.

Liked: A guest house with character. Lovely warm, clean and quiet room with comfortable bed. Excellent choice for breakfast with quality produce.
