Magical hotel easy to get...

Liked: Braid Hills Hotel was a magical place to stay and it met our expectations with the amazing atmosphere.

Superb

Very good

Liked: Good location, easily accessible from the city bypass. Good connecting bus service with the stop going into the city centre just across the road at the bottom of the steps and the stop coming from the city right at the steps.As usual the food at breakfast was good and plentiful.
Disliked: The hotel is starting to show its age and there is a fair bit of tlc required to bring it up to the standard you could generally expect for the price you are paying. In our room the TV was positioned high up which made it somewhat uncomfortable to watch. There was also no information in the room about local attractions nor about any of the facilities in the hotel which is certainly a first for me .

Awesome place to stay.

Liked: The room was super nice, old fashion and stylish. With nice view and secluded. The bathroom was spacious and well lit.
Disliked: It's a bit far from the city center, but the public transport is super good so that's not a problem at all.

Good value for money

Liked: Hotel was situated in convenient location: close to the city, 15-20 minutes by bus to any direction of central part of the city. Moreover, near the hotel was very picturesque park and hills for morning walks. The staff were very friendly, ready to help and provide any information. Room itself was clean and equipped with all essentials. Overall, it was good experience with good value for money.
Disliked: Only table lamps were available to light the room. A bit old furniture.

Bad

Liked: No internet connection and staff wasn’t interested into finding a solution. We talked with 2 different staff and both of them promised us that it would work the next day… well it still didn’t..
Disliked: No internet connection, staff isn’t helpful
