Liked: Excellent for a youth hostel, clean, nice staff, small but adequate double room, good value, good bike parking with outlets to charge e-bikes in the shed, nice lounge, free coffee and tea, nice location in the woods, quiet.

Liked: Room was clean, building was clean, great location. Staff were nice. Views from the room were lovely. Location and trees were amazing
Disliked: Nothing was really explained to me when I checked in other than to return towels and betting at the end of my stay. Breakfast was cleared away as early as 9:20 when I believe it should have been 10am. As a "youth hostel" the average age of people staying was 30-40. The woman's showers and toilets only had 1 sink. There were banging doors all through out the night on one night

Liked: Had a great stay at Braemar Youth Hostel. Big thanks to the young guy at reception — super friendly and helpful, and a fellow motorcyclist too! He gave me great local tips and made me feel right at home. Perfect spot for bikers exploring the Highlands.
