Great value, clean b&b with...

Liked: The owner i think she was called kelly was lovely. So welcoming and friendly and really put me at ease as a first time travelling with my child. The place was lovely and clean and we was allowed to check in early as my daughter needed to get to her dance competition. The breakfast was stunning i had both the cooked breakfast and bits from the continental which included a variety of cereal, fresh fruits, jams, pastries cheeses and meat. Also fresh filtered coffee and tea was available and fruit juices, all included in the price of the stay which is exceptional. We will defo stay again should I return to Blackpool again.

Liked: Spotlessly clean and the owner was extremely friendly and welcoming. Lovely power shower.
Disliked: Shower head slid down the pole and wouldn’t stay in place.

Whilst cheap, the noisy toilet...

Disliked: The bed was very small, the toilet was extremely noisy and was making noise all night, there were hairs on the bathroom floor

Disliked: We were met by an unfriendly landlady. She did not introduce herself, she told us what time breakfast was, and gave us the keys. Room 1 - very small room with a double bed pushed up to the outside wall. The door to the bedroom had a yale type lock affixed to a filled in hole with scratches and scuffs everywhere. The sign for the door was over painted on the edges which gave a bad impression. There was 1 chair, 4 hooks for clothes, no wardrobe. The kettle had seen better days. The bed was up against the cold external wall. The mattress was so old you could feel the springs through it (which occasionally twanged) and should be replaced. Cable trunking for the TV cable was hanging off the wall. The TV remote wasn't just dirty it was filthy with bits in it. The paint on the door to the bathroom was chipped, scratched and was generally in a bad condition. The smoke alarm was filthy and had grime and dust in the gap between where it was fixed to the ceiling. The ceiling above the TV had water damage, but wasn't repainted, it had been left.The blind on the window next to the bed was old, filthy and frayed. The toilet was generally filthy especially around the back of the toilet. The toilet brush had poo on it. Under the basin it was filthy as was the waste trap and the top of the pipe boxing. The shower itself was so dirty and rusty that the rust had spread to the ceiling, and all the way down its chrome pipe to the rusted chrome water controls. The sealant around the shower base was not applied properly and was dirty. In general the whole room is not fit for purpose. Our cooked Breakfast was cold so we informed the landlady, she warmed it up in the microwave. When it was returned it was luke warm. We did not get an apology. The guest house photos on their website do not match what it actually looks like - beware!! Premier accommodation in Blackpool - what a joke - it is definitely not Premier!!

Liked: Staff were lovely, breakfast was great, plenty of choice, great location to the town and places of interest
Disliked: We stayed in the budget double room and were aware it was small, though clean and had everything we needed, it was a lot smaller than even we expected, it would be better as a single, that was our only issue and yet it didn't impact our stay, we had a lovely time

Great location for a short...

Liked: Fabulous host. Delicious breakfast. Super close to the beach.
Disliked: Very uncomfortable bed. Thin walls (could hear the next room chatting until 3am. I know the hotel can’t control people chatting until that time, but the neighbours were only talking - the walls were so thin we could still here them)
