Lovely grounds, great location

Liked: Great location for the wedding we were attending and having the hot tub was nice too.
Disliked: Unfortunately couldn’t park next to the lodge and unpack our belongings, we had to park in the car park and bring them in. This wasn’t ideal when it was pouring with rain but not a huge issue. The lodge was looking a bit tired and could do with a bit of a freshen up.

Liked: I love the location, I love the lodges on the lake especially lodge 38 as you can see sunset.The break away.
Disliked: The grounds are a bit of a mess even half finished looks untidy.The lodge was dirty! I cleaned the glass on veranda myself The carpet was filthy. I paid extra for my dog to stay fair enough, but if guests are paying extra, surely this should reflect cleaning standards.Brought up reception shrugged off! When checking in and out was just rude. Restaurant overpriced and not very good.I have been before and love the lodges and hot tub, absolutely loved our first stay not this one.(Second bedroom needs as much attention as main bedroom just rubbish compared to master)Not sure I will return it's definitely noy worth the price if they can not clean it.Broken outside chair four of us staying amd only 3 usable Attention to detail is needed
