Not what we had hoped...

Liked: We liked the restaurant and the seating area outside it. Staff in all areas were lovely, friendly and helpful.
Disliked: The lodge we stayed in was very close to other lodges and close to the event hall which had a Prom night going on. The young people looked happy and lovely in their outfits but it was very noisy until late. Not a very relaxing evening for us that night. The park lodges area is still in the process of being landscaped , not very pleasant to have a walk around yet. We were quite disappointed with our stay as we had gone for a short break between cancer treatments, maybe we should have done a bit more research before booking.

Liked: We love the place been going for a long time .it's or bolt hole
Disliked: Fly's in lodge (over the whole time we were there ) dirty skirting boards.Grubby corners in rooms in general .stains on sofas .flooring that had been ripped and repaired.with a carpet pulled over it when reported it And a tin of fly spray . And told we are in the country .I have lived on a farm for many years .

Pleasant location.Wouldn’t stay again though

Disliked: Could park near property to unload the car.

Relaxing & comfortable stay

Liked: The lodge was fabulous - 3 bedrooms, en suite in main bedroom, large bathroom with bath, large living/kitchen area. Kitchen well equipped. It was very hot when we were there so used the hot tub as a ‘dipping pool’ to cool off. The restaurant/bar area is lovely, good food & reasonably priced. Staff were very friendly. Loved this place and we are returning in October.
Disliked: My only gripe is that it would have been nice to have a parasol to get some shade on the decking as we were in full sun.

Liked: Have stayed here a few timesIf you are looking for relaxing, its perfect If you want more active, drive 45 mins, to beach, Arcade, Amusements (Skegness)Would definitely recommend 100%Staff, lodge, and food are all great(Can be expensive to eat out every day, especially if you have children) cooking equipment in lodge has that covered, with everything you needWe will be back againThank you to all the staff for another amazing stay
