Disliked: Checked in and room smelt really fusty with mould in 1 corner. We decided to check out immediately and went to the Holiday Inn. Old tired furnishings I felt I was back in the 1970's and the twin room we were staying in had a bathroom that reminded me off a disabled loo in a pub.I sent a message to the hotel in complaint, but have had no reply absolute shambles of a place. Last time I will be using Booking.com☹️

A peaceful, comfortable and clean...

Liked: It was overall excellent. Attractive building. Plenty of parking. Rooms clean and roomy. It was quiet. Breakfast has good range of choice. Staff pleasant and helpful. Lovely canal side walks nearby. Great central location. Will definitely be staying here again.
Disliked: Not the fault of this establishment but other residents were smoking on the outside steps (even though they are not supposed to) and the smell came into our room.

Liked: The staff were very friendly and helpful on our arrival and breakfast the following morning. The waitress made breakfast with 2 young children enjoyable and not rushed and the food was great. We’d stay here again. :)

Liked: Staff are friendly and helpful. Although, pub food it was excellent. Good selection beers and wine.
Disliked: Bathrooms need to be refurbished.

Liked: Very comfortable, good continental breakfast. Cooked breakfast upon request at an additional charge.
Disliked: Unfortunately, it is on a busy road although I booked for the location.
