For the price paid this...

Liked: Great location, and for the area very reasonably priced.
Disliked: Room a little small and it smelt quite damp/musty but this was ok once aired.

It is a great place...

Liked: Good location, kind staff, and baggage depositRoom is clean, and it is not noisy although it is near the street.

Strategic spot in Victoria

Liked: The location was perfect, just 5 minutes away from the Victoria Coach Station. It was quiet and clean, the street is very safe. The staff was lovely and the size of the room is perfect for a 3/4 nights trip. The provide appliances to prepare tea and coffee, the bathroom is a good size and clean.

I would honestly only recommend...

Liked: Really good location and very friendly and helpful staff.
Disliked: However, the room was nowhere near as nice as the one shown by booking, there was a constant sewer smell and they never came to change our sheets and towels. Let's just say that the price of the room was correct for what I had seen on booking but not for where I actually stayed.

Great - would stay again...

Liked: Bower House was quaint, central, extremely clean and excellent value. I would definitely stay again. Thankyou to the staff who were lovely and helpful. They took all our bags and had them in our rooms ready when we checked in.

Liked: Location was perfect t for exploring London for the first time. Great pub around the corner.
Disliked: Cant say as it has everything we needed

Very affordable stay in a...

Liked: Very quiet neighborhood, with little to no street noise. The reception staff were friendly and allowed me to store a large bag a couple weeks prior to checking in. Which was super handy ! As I just moved country and would be doing a bit of travelling prior to staying there. So I really appreciated that. They also were very courteous and put all of our bags in our room for us as it was up a flight of stairs. Thank you so so much !!
Disliked: Only complaints was that there was renovations going on in the floor above us which we werent told about. The construction men were there from 7am - 4pm roughly. It didnt disturb us too much as we were out and baout most of the time but definitely could be a problem if you are planning to relax or sleep during the day. Not sure how long that is going on for. Perhaps it would have been nice for the staff to offer free breakfast. As I did mention it to them but didnt want to obsessively complain about it.
