Exceptional

Liked: Love it here 3 times weve stayed in the chalets now lovely food lovely staff nice and clean too

Welcoming hotel in a good...

Liked: I had a single room which was warm, comfortable and quiet.
Disliked: I would have preferred a smaller menu which was changed each day as well as food served on hot plates.

Okay, not great value for...

Liked: There was a wedding on at the same time as our stay, not an issue but would have been nice to have been told prior to this. Was very loud until midnight, we went for a relaxed night away so wasn’t ideal, also made dining tricky as would have been the only ones in the restaurant not from the party. Not a problem, but a heads up would have been nice. The heating was also on when we arrived in the room, it was 20 degrees outside so internal heating wasn’t needed

Very nice relaxing stay.

Liked: We loved the room we stayed in was very nice and comfortable. The food in the restaurant was very nice and we really like the relaxed atmosphere at bowburn hall.
Disliked: The only negative we have is the towels smell like food they have both times we have stayed.

Lovely hotel but we were...

Liked: We enjoy the hotel and this was our third visit. Staff are always attentive and friendly. Lovely location
Disliked: We stayed in Room 25, worst hotel room we’ve stayed in. Very small room, poor layout - tv not in easy sight when in bed. No bedside tables, wall light switches on a different wall that the bed was, broken wall light, shower sealing was black.
