Liked: Clean, friendly staff, excellent breakfast (buffet style ‘very extensive’ as well ofd the menus ordering available), great coffee drink making machine, quiet location. Room actually was an upgrade which was huge with a Terrance offering lots of windows to let in light. Room was cleaned daily and the rooms were designed well where everything worked flawlessly.No complaints. The suggestions to see Prague from the Garden which is located above the castle (after visiting there) was a. excellent idea to see the entire Prague from a vantage point as well as to relax and have a drink and snack before heading back down into the city square for dinner.
Disliked: No complaints.

Fantastic in so many ways

Liked: There is so much to love about this hotel. We were in a junior suite and it was massive. The main bed was a queen and the sofa bed was a comfortable double. There was plenty of storage for all of our things, the furniture was beautiful and rustic and the ceilings were so high with 5 grand windows. The bathroom was fabulous. It had a bath with a shower, a bidet and a powerful shower cubicle, as well as a hairdryer, robes, towels and slippers.They also provided hair and body wash, cotton pads and ear buds, body lotion and a shower cap (and the other things you would expect). There was also a mini sewing kit, a safe, a coffee machine and pods, a variety of teabags, a kettle and a fridge with a mini bar. There was daily house keeping and the entire suite always looked lovely when we returned.All of the staff were very wonderful. In particular there were three ladies at the reception, the main lady in the breakfast room, and other male in the breakfast room, who were especially friendly and helpful. (Forgive me for not getting their names. I am pretty useless like that).The breakfast was of a high quality and I would certainly recommend it. There was a buffet of many delicious looking pastries, cakes and other things, which varied daily. (I can't really say what they all were because I am a coeliac and unable to eat any of them, but they looked lovely and the other members of my family enjoyed them). There was a fruit cocktail, yogurts, cereal, bread and a toaster, a selection of cheese, meats and salad, multiple condiments, juice, milk, tea and a coffee machine. They also offered a lovely selection of cooked food to order and they provided gluten free bread for me. Another bonus was that breakfast ran from 7am to 11am (perfect if you want to be up and out early or having a more relaxed day).The location was also wonderful. It was on a quiet cobblestone street with many restaurants and cafés nearby.
Disliked: There were only two downsides for me and that is mostly because I was there with my child. There isn't a bar, or anywhere other than our room to spend time in, which I missed in the evenings. Also, there was a TV but I could not find any channel in English (obviously that is a 'me' issue but sadly I do not speak any other languages and I do like to watch a bit of television when I have to get back to the hotel with a child). If you do like to watch TV I would recommend taking a streaming device and cast from your phone. I would also recommend you download things in the morning because the WiFi is not good in the evening.

We had a GREAT time.

Liked: Clean, big rooms, welcoming staff, excellent food. This place is really to be recommended, which we will do.
Disliked: One annoying thing: bedlinen are folded in such a way when beds are done that you cannot get to bed without having to completely redo the bed before you can lie down 😂.Might be a local thing and not a big deal, but a bit annoying after 3 or 4 nights!

Well located, very clean, and...

Liked: The room was a great size and nice and quiet (it was on the fourth floor). The hotel was well located in the Lesser District where the castle and cathedral are. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Disliked: The breakfast wasn't very good. The coffee machine was OK. The cereal selection (I like muesli) was poor. The fresh fruit and orange juice poor. The scrambled egg was more like an omelette. In the room the coffee and tea is via a kettle which is OK except the tea selection was poor and the milk was powdered milk! The mattress is very firm which is OK if you like firm mattresses. The bathroom is large but the shower cubicle is small and old.
