Enjoyable stay in quiet area.

Liked: Our room was large and had private garden area. Thoroughly enjoyed the ambiance and comfort of the room. Staff were friendly and helpful. Stayed one night and didn’t have breakfast nor dinner so no comments on food options. Overall a very satisfying stay.
Disliked: As expected with the type of location, there are some mosquitoes and other insects around outside.

Liked: We has stated there before and knew and liked the location. when we stayed before we had an excellent meal which was the main reason for returning.
Disliked: The restaurant was closed because of a private function (a wedding). We were not informed in advance that the restaurant would be closed and in fact received a message the day before our stay informing us to ensure that we made a reservation if we wanted to dine there. When I contacted the hotel to book a table I was then informed that the restaurant was closed. There was only one other restaurant in the town which was fully booked so we were unable to have a meal that evening. I consider that at the very least the hotel should have notified us that the restaurant was going to be closed as they knew well in advance of our stay. Also, there is no reason why they could not have offered some food even if it was only a cold meat and cheese platter in the room.

Disliked: Well set up, with great comunal areas and good sizes bedrooms and bathrooms.
