Liked: The location is great, staff are friendly and helpful. Room is perfect for what we needed.

Disappointing

Disliked: Room was in the lower level and as a consequence it was cold dark and damp. It was very clean but bulbs were gone in a lamp, some small things were broken and it felt pretty unloved.

Disliked: Only 50% frosted bathroom door in a twin room (why?), no fans or AC

Gorgeous friendly boutique hotel in...

Liked: Perfect location right in the middle of Finnieston, a step from the main road with loads of lovely restaurants, bars and coffee houses. Two minutes from a bus stop with regular buses (every ten minutes) into the centre, which took about fifteen minutes and was very cheap. Alternatively it's an easy half hour walk into the centre. It feels a very safe area to walk around, even later in the evening. Brilliantly placed for the Kelvingrove Museum, the Hunterian, and the Botanical Gardens. The room was really comfortable and had plenty of tea and coffee and some high end toiletries. There was a wonderful buffet breakfast - if I'd taken advantage of all there was to offer, I'd be the size of a house!Even though we were at the front in the basement, the room was very light and it was extremely quiet, even with the windows open. Finally, the staff were wonderful! So friendly and helpful. I would definitely go back.
Disliked: Having travelled extensively in America, I do miss having a fridge in the room as standard. But that's being picky! There was really nothing not to like!
