perfect for a break away

Character hotel - caring staff...

Liked: The staff, especially Tom - so helpful.The rooms were clean, tidy and comfortable. We had a suite which was beautiful paid for an upgrade when we got there. Breakfast was good and so accommodating for gluten and lactose intolerance. Comfortable rooms to sit and relax in and grounds nice to sit or stretch your legs in.
Disliked: Very steep walk getting back and forth to hotel. Ok if you’re doing it once but not if you need to go to town 2-3 times. Breakfast cereals needed for gluten free - oats - then everybody could enjoy with their milk and fruit. Swimming pool had a charge which I feel should come in the cost if you are staying.

Lovely Stay In Shanklin

Liked: Very nice hotel located on the edge of Shanklin, a few minutes drive from the town centre and the beach. Staff are lovely and helpfull, and the breakfast was the perfect start to the day. The rooms and beds were comfortable. One room was newly refurbished and the other was partialy refurbished (the carpet and bathroom were old) otherwise it would have been a 10.
Disliked: The corridorrs and halways need a lot of TLC. Extra charge to use the pool.
