Perfectly comfortable but lack of...

Liked: Very clean, modern and - although we didn’t have time to use them - there seemed to be a wide variety of facilities (gym etc).
Disliked: The staff weren’t particularly friendly. The fire alarm went off after 1am which - after calling down to reception to enquire - we were informed was nothing to worry about. Pity it woke two young children who took some time getting back to sleep. The next morning, no acknowledgment from staff, no explanation or apology. Furthermore, the girl on check-out in the morning really needs some training on engaging with customers…she looked like she didn’t want to be there!

Lovely room, the rest of...

Liked: The room was brilliant with promised views for the rollercoaster and theme park.
Disliked: The staff all seemed stressed so customer service was minimal which is disappointing for a 5 star hotel. The plates and mugs were dirty at breakfast, I asked for a take out paper cup because the mug was stained or dirty. When choosing my cereal bowl, I went through 4 bowls before I found one without old food stuck to it. The Boulevard is a lovely hotel, it just didn’t meet five star standards that I’ve previously experienced.
