Liked: Overall great hotel. Staff were helpful, room was spotless and really comfortable. Food and drink were also very good. Will definitely return.

Disliked: The reception staff except 'Callum' weren't friendly & never greeted you. On checking in the man on reception took two different phone calls & left us standing Then left and a girl checked us in, no, sorry to keep you waiting or welcome to the hotel . The bathroom had dust on the floor, a lot of hair in the bath and had not been washed away on our arrival & two long dark hairs on the bed sheets. Pillow case marked with what looked like make up. Breakfast was luke warm, I asked for poached eggs & they arrived on the plate like 2 hard boiled eggs. No teaspoons and dirty milk jugs both mornings, cracked cup. Sticky table plates not cleared away. Definitely not worth £80 for 2people over 2 days. We were almost charged for car parking on departure day & had to show our train tickets as proof that we didnt have a car with us. No apologies, no, did you enjoy your stay. It was my birthday so a bit of a let down and disappointment really especially when it appeared so lovely online.
