Uneven dirty pull out bed...
Liked: The decor and room size was good. Roof top pool was pleasant but very little shade when it was extremely hot.
Disliked: We had booked our stay through Booking.com about a week in advance, for two adults and two young children, for one night.Upon arrival, we used the valet service and were kindly offered a bell trolley for our luggage, which we accepted. My husband wheeled our own luggage into the hotel entrance using the trolley.At reception, we were greeted by the desk staff, who checked us in. We proceeded to the room, and my husband brought our luggage up using the bell trolley. Upon entering, we were pleased with the room’s decor and size. Our two sons, aged 6 and 8, were very tired and immediately fell asleep on the main bed.As we settled in, my husband and I began looking for the second bed. After some searching, we located a sofa bed, which we pulled out. Unfortunately, the sofa bed was not level, and its mattress was visibly stained (please see attached photos). Despite the condition, we simply wanted to get some rest, so I looked for bedding. Finding only pillows in the cupboards, I called reception. The desk staff assured me that bedding would be brought up shortly.To our surprise, given that we had booked for four guests, the sofa bed was not prepared in advance, which was both disappointing and inconvenient after a long day of travel.Soon after, a male staff member arrived at the door to our Room with two sheets and a thin, discoloured blanket. He handed the sheets to me and said, “We’ll need that back,” pointing to the bell trolley. I responded, “We’ll return it in the morning—we’re exhausted.” The male staff member replied, “No, I need it now.” I then said, “In that case, we need the sofa bed made now.” He retorted, “Only if you ask me nicely.”Confused, I asked him to clarify. He repeated, “Only if you ask me nicely,” in a condescending tone. I was taken aback and explained that we had booked for four people and therefore expected proper sleeping arrangements for four. He responded, “Take it up with reception,” and walked away.
