Horrible receptionist at check in,...

Disliked: The lady named Nina at front desk that we first spoke to when we arrived at the hotel ruined the whole experience. Her arrogant and dismissive attitude was shocking to me. She acted like we were annoying and giving her a hard time while I was just asking normal questions. I didn?t expect this at a Marriott hotel at all, knowing I had to deal with this kind of attitude I would never have booked this hotel. We stayed at so many hotels during our two week-trip this time and never had a receptionist like this. I?ve never been told I was an unreasonable person, I?m not one of those people who would treat people in service industry poorly at all because I know how hard it can be working in service and it?s not easy for them to deal with all sorts of customers. We had a long flight and tried to check in at 3:15 pm, she first had trouble locating our reservation by last name, then when I said that?s indeed the same last name she started to raise her voice and tried to argue with me while in fact the whole confusion was mainly caused by her not asking the correct question in the first place. I didn?t want to argue because of something small like this and just mentioned in a normal, neutral tone that she should have asked the correct question in the first place, then suddenly she started raising her voice like I was bothering her in a bad way. I was almost scared by the way she was talking to me. I was tired and jet legged and she just made me feel horrible. Then she said the room was not ready and we might have to wait for another hour and half. I said shouldn?t the check in time be 4pm and mentioned we already paid for the room, an hour and half later would be 4:45. She got a lot more irritated after hearing this. Again I didn?t want to cause trouble at all if she explained in a normal, non-dismissive tone I would be totally fine. I wouldn?t mind waiting if she spoke professionally. Its not what she said but the way she said made me feel sad about the whole experience.
