Liked: Great staff and beds very comfortable!!
Disliked: Breakfast pricey but its NY!

Liked: The food here was AMAZING. The staff were really nice and accommodating. The lobby was beautiful, the cafe was very nice, and we slept fairly well.
Disliked: The showers were a bit cold because there aren't doors on it, and the rooms were missing things. I have never stayed in a hotel with no mini fridge in it. The exposed wiring and plateless junction box on the ceiling were very unappealing, which is not something I expect at a luxury hotel. Additionally, one of the reasons we stayed at this hotel was because of the rooftop bar which we were really excited about. Our first night it was completely closed, the second night a big fundraiser was going on and there was no room for us, and the DJ was blasting the music so loudly we couldnt hear eachother so we went to a bar deeper in the city. That was very disappointing. When you pay so much for amenities they should always be available to all guests.

Superb

Liked: The rooftop has a gorgeous view, but it's a separate bar, so you'll find people who aren't staying at the hotel there. It is only open during its opening hours.
Disliked: The rooms are really dark, even with all the lights on

Liked: Really liked the flexibility. the first room had some strange noise so they gave me another one that was really good!
Disliked: a lot of noises in the hallway

Disappointing

Minimalist, clean, spacious room

Liked: The room was fairly large and clean and they left us extra towels in the room which was super convenient. It was convenient to public transportation and the rooftop was lovely, as well as the food from the restaurant.
Disliked: There are no plugs near the bed to charge your phone and you had to get out of bed to turn the lights off. The room's HVAC didn't work correctly so even though we set the temperature, it never got cool. Also the room could have used one more chair to sit/put luggage on as it was pretty sparse. It was also very $$$ for the area and what you get in the room.
