Superb

Liked: Set in beautiful, peaceful, scenery. Owners are welcoming and helpful. The accommodation has all you could wish for, spacious, comfortable, and homely. My grandson enjoyed seeing all the animals!
Disliked: I can't fault the place, only the distance to go anywhere, which, isn't always a negative.

Completely charming, relaxing and picturesque...

Liked: Super comfy, lovely beds, heating and hot water/water pressure. Staying on a farm (very safe) was amazing, with super friendly dogs, cats as well as sheep and horses. The views were incredible which made it completely relaxing. Hosts were very chatty and accommodating. Loved this place.

Wonderful quiet getaway in a...

Liked: What a wonderful cottage in such a beautiful, quiet rural location. The cottage was cosy and nicely furnished with an exceptionally comfy double bed (plus an additional single). Fully equipped kitchen too. Rock solid WiFi and mobile phone reception. The hosts are very response via messaging in the Booking app and friendly in person. The cottage is well placed to explore Dumfriesshire and the Galloway Forest Park a little further afield although you can hike over the hills and into the woods right from the cottage itself. Very highly recommended - I really can't think of a single thing I didn't like!

Lovely hosts, lovely setting, and...

Liked: We love the peace & quiet, and the facilities are excellent. Yes the kitchen is small, but it has everything we needed, as we were out daily exploring the local area. Lovely views over the fields towards the hills. Loved it. We have stayed before, and will definiteley be back again.
Disliked: A curtain or blind on the front door, is my only thought.

Liked: Comfortable accommodation in BEAUTFUL AREA.Host very friendly and happy to share local information which enhanced greatly our stay, albeit short.The birthday gift for my sister was such a lovely surprise.

Liked: View was amazing. Cottage was spacious and warm. Perfect.

Liked: The peace and quietness. The views are beautiful place.
Disliked: Kitchen small , needs few more items . Jug that fits into microwave. Or bowl. The sofa in sitting room under the cushions was crumbs a lot . Under window cushion that was dirty . Also the photo of the main farm gives you the impression that it is part of the cottage. Not clear about the cottage at the front of house . Over priced . Still a lovely place needs few extras rather basic , the views made up for it . Please clean under the sofa cushions . Not nice and atract mice.

Lovely place to stay on...

Liked: Lovely house adjacent to the farmhouse. Separate bedroom (huge, with a double bed, a single and a sofa) and living room (with lovely view). Kind and friendly owners. Kitchen is fairly small (just a two ring hob, but there's an oven and microwave too) but fine for a few days. Has a dishwasher which is a bonus.
Disliked: Nothing.

Best break ever.

Liked: We loved everything, being able to have lovely walks with the dogs. Scenery, beautiful, everyone very friendly accommodation brilliant
