Disliked: They offered a lot of amenities that they did/could NOT provide such as, $15 credit/daily if order thru them, 24/7 room service, ugly bagels, never answers the guest service phone, refrigerators did NOT work, for the amount I paid a night I expected these amenities especially knowing I was there during the week. My room was great with the terrace when I didn’t have other guests in other rooms dropping ice on me. The rooms also could use a little sitting area, not in front of bathrooms

Great location, friendly staff, lovely...

Liked: The staff were very friendly and helpful. We really liked our room and the coffee delivery in the morning was a nice touch. The lobby and outside area of cafe for breakfast were also lovely and the rooftop bar had a great vibe. The location is great - walking distance to broadway but less busy/noisy. There is a lovely restaurant next door (Sinatra) and a great little live music venue (Bourbon St Blues bar). We will definitely stay here again.

The staff displayed southern hospitality...

Liked: Upon very early arrival, I did not expect the hotel to have two rooms cleaned; however, they were both ready for us. There was a problem with my room safe then within minutes of reporting it, a maintenance person appeared and instantly solved the problem. From the front door employees, to the frontdesk employees, to the cafe and pool employees everyone was so welcoming and accommodating. I enjoyed the interesting artwork displayed throughout the hotel as well as having a drink and appetizer on the rooftop. The pool area was sparkling clean with ample towels. It was disappointing that the size of the pool on the website appeared to be much larger for swimming rather than a dunking pool. Whoever designed the rooms thought of everything from the lights and suede bumpers on the bed so you don't injury yourself to the clever way the trash can was built-in to the cabinet to the large shower that never dripped onto the floor. Likewise, I appreciated the variety of food and drinks in the minibar. The Bobby Hotel aims to please their guests!
Disliked: We had a view of a parking garage so we never opened our curtains.I did not like the mandatory $25.00 experience fee plus tax per day. Since I do not drink coffee, I did not utilize the drop-off service. Why was the drink voucher for beer or a mocktail and not wine? When I wanted to utilize the drink voucher the cafe was closed and the pool would not honor the coupon.
