Liked: Good location near metro stop and close enough to Montparnasse station. Quaint Paris quartier with plenty of shopping options and bistros for a quick meal or a drink. AC was a big plus as it was quite hot during our visit. Nice breakfast area.

Dirty towels, Scruffy Property, Not...

Disliked: I booked this room as I was travelling to Paris late on Friday to then travel down to Cognac early Saturday morning from Montparnasse. i wanted a clean and quiet room however, the pictures of this hotel are not accurate. The hotel was run down - the plastic bed side table in my room was cracked, the walls were scratched and marked and needed a paint. Also, the bed had dark hair on it which was not mine, as I am blonde. I had a shower when i arrived after travelling and used what i thought was a 'fresh' towel which was on the bed which when I unrolled had huge brown marks on it. I had to go down to reception at 11.30pm to show them the towel i had been greeted with, all i got was a half apology and a new towel.

Good value for money

Liked: Superb location easy to get everywhere. The rooms were a decent size and I had a beautiful room on 5th floor. Free water available to refill my bottle everyday and even a cosy outdoor space to sit and unwind. The bed was very comfortable and I could sleep with an open window. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I even could store my luggage for a week whilst I was travelling. Good value for money.
Disliked: My lock was broken in the room so I had to switch rooms. Viktoria from Reception did a fantastic and efficient job and moved me to another room. She turned and unpleasant situation in to a positive one for me so thank you so much. The room could do with a fridge. Also my room only had see through blinds in the bathroom. They should put proper blind or stained glass for non visibility. Otherwise everything was perfect.

Liked: In no way I would rate this as a 4 star hotel. Nothing specific that was disappointing expect for the experience doesn’t match the overall rating of the hotel. Lifts too small, breakfast basic, facilities almost to none. However the room was clean and spacious for Paris standard.
