Boat Harbour Motel

Overall our stay was good....

Liked: Great location. Close to beach, shops and sports stadium. Good water view from our room. Room was big with good balcony. Bed was comfortable.
Disliked: The showerhead kept dropping down. There was mould in the bottom of the shower recess. The tap in the kitchen sink was loose. There was no tea towel in the kitchen.

The noise ruined our get...

Liked: Proximity to harbour, and the cafe on the ground floor.
Disliked: It was noisey. Our room was facing Wilson Street; opposite a house with 2 yapping dogs. Every passer-by set them off, so if trying to snooze we would be woken up by the barking dogs.An alarm went off 2 nights in a row. It was deafening. The first night it didn’t last too long, but the 2nd night it went for ages, causing us to get up to check if there was a fire. We encountered people who had packed their bags to flea. When we were checking out we were informed someone in the cafe didn’t know how to turn the alarm off. Not good.

Liked: Only stayed one night to attend the footy, but we have stayed here multiple times throughout the years and have never been disappointed.Staff and accommodation are exceptional, and as for location, you can't go wrong.

Liked: Location and view were perfect. The staff also very helpful and friendly

Value for money

Liked: Clean, comfy bed and was central to where l need to be. Staff were also friendly and accommodating. Ample parking.
Disliked: The bathroom shower access.
