Fabulous, would definitely stay again!

Liked: Lovely big room with beautiful views, everything was clean and staff were great. Food at dinner time was fantastic. Good central location to travel to Loch Garten, Aviemore, Loch Morlich and Nairn
Disliked: Our room was quite hot (it had been warm weather in the days before, so think heat has built up) so could have done with a fan for the room, but at the same time we didn’t ask for one. I am sure the hotel would have obliged if we had. An iron in the room would have been useful.

Perfect location and nice hotel...

Liked: Excellent choice for breakfast - loved sitting outside in the sunshine for a few drinks - tasty evening meal. Room was small but adequate for our 1 night stay.
Disliked: Very small en suite.

Probably the worst ever.

Liked: We had a very large room with separate living room and a very large bathroom with a freestanding tub.
Disliked: The room was covered in stains, the bathroom was covered in marks, in the sink on the walls in the shower. Very outdated. We had dinner in the restaurant, the staff did not have a clue. Our order was incorrect multiple times, the waiting time wasn't great and it wasn't overly busy. The bar staff had no idea what they were doing. Breakfast was mediocre with hardly a selection of items, juice was warm and watery, I had pancakes that were clearly microwaved and stodgy, the cooked breakfast wasn't of great quality. We also stayed on the hottest day of the year (rare) but there was no air in the room whatsoever. The room we were in also had lights directly at the windows so there was constant light coming in past the curtains.
