Boarders Inn & Suites by Cobblestone Hotels - Grand Island

I'd stay again. Not a five star hotel but not a five star price either. Discount at Denny's was generous. Definitely need to improve their WIFI - couldn't log on. Front desk tried to help but if we'd had the kids with us it would not have been pleasant. The plastic under the pillowcase was understandable but weird. Nice to be able to have pets even though we didn't bring ours.

Liked: Rooms decent; updated TV, fridge, microwave, heat/AC unit.
Disliked: Weak WIFI. Foundation settling issue caused door seal issue.

Liked: Breakfast was ok, rooms were quiet.
Disliked: It shows a lounge on advertisement, there was no lounge, no pool table as advertised, toilet did not flush properly, a deluxe king room with only 1 chair, desk and chair.. people sitting in vestibule high, eating and drinking, lefty all his trash behind, was still there the next morning...exit door to parking lot was very difficult to open.. had to push exit door and exit button.. bath/shower tub backed up every time leaving about 2 inches of water, slow to drain... at check out the last day. Curtains/Drapes were torn Smell of Marijuana outside by the door to enter...Desk clerk tried to charge us full price again and had a hard time giving us a receipt that started, paid in full... took about 20 minutes to get receipt, Adrian the desk clerk told us to wait an hour for his manager to arrive.. would not recommend this hotel due to false advertisement..

Disliked: Shower knob/plumbing needs updating. You need to practically pull the knob out of the wall to turn on water. The front desk said they get many complaints about that.

Liked: For the price, and the super short stay (was a stopover sleep, so in late and out early), it worked great. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable.
Disliked: The front desk staff seemed to be unfamiliar with checking in via a Booking reservation. The lobby smelled bad and our room was right off the pool area with bright florescent lights through the night. Was very happy this was not any longer than a 7h stay.
