Disliked: Didn't care for how the staff handled a problem we were having with our room.

Very nice hotel, we will...

Liked: The pillows! The beds as well, but the pillows were especially good, my mom really wants to find a place where she can buy one! The room was a lot bigger than we were expecting, honestly, and all the seating was comfortable to sit in. The water in the rooms was incredibly hot which is a luxury at hotels sometimes, and the shower also had good pressure, another luxury. The maid staff was wonderful, they came in every morning to make the beds and refresh all the towels and the bath mat. The hotel was in a great area, you can easily and quickly get to Beaver Dam, Madison, Rio, and Sun Prarie; which was perfect for us as we were there to visit family and everyone was a 20-minute drive or so max.
Disliked: The coffee maker in the room was not very good, it did not get the water very hot at all, the water from the tap was probably hotter than what came out of that coffee maker. In the same vein, the coffee at the breakfast was much better, but they didn't refresh the coffee creamer the whole week we were there, after the third day there was no more, and the coffee syrups were so low you couldn't even use them. The internet could be a little spotty for some reason and our videos would buffer, which isn't the greatest but it was still usable. The walls in the bathroom definitely needed to be cleaned, when we took showers you could see that the condensation was gathering dirt and dripping down the walls, which just seemed kind of gross, but that is the only cleanliness issue we ran into. As one last little thing, though, the first day we arrived we went to Beaver Dam to grab some snacks from Walmart, while there we bought a package of cookies from the bakery, that evening I had one cookie for dessert and the next day after we arrived back to the hotel after spending the day with family one of my cookies had been eaten. I assume a maid enjoyed a little snack while she made the beds, I don't mind as there was plenty of cookies and I definitely understand the allure of a Lofthouse cookie, but I felt I should mention that little bit of unprofessionalism. I am going to stress that other than that little incident there was nothing at all missing or misplaced in our room, and we left a laptop and a tablet in there every day, it was just a silly little thing I felt I should mention; cookies aren't safe, but your electronics probably are.

Fantastic, clean, no frills stay...

Liked: Clean basic room with fridge and microwave. Close to Walgreens and places to eat.
Disliked: Please consider a bench or something outside, and offering coffee during the day. :)

Very unhappy, staff is dishonest,...

Disliked: Staff is dishonest!!House keeping went through our stuff and stole some of my wife’s pain medicine. Then the receptionist backed her up and said she wouldn’t do that because she trained her . Supposedly the manager was called have never heard anything from him either.

Disliked: Some questionable guests…early in the morning a man walking through the lobby in a purple robe and later in the morning naked in the hallway, the police were called.
