All in all this was...

Liked: The very few staff members were friendly enough, but nobody was ever AT the desk when we went by. The place smelled okay, although our room smelled STRONGLY of chloring, probaby from the jacuzzi tub, which we chose not to use. Overall it seemed clean enough.
Disliked: It definitely is older and run down looking, especiallly the bathrooms, which are also SUPER small and have no fan/ventilation, which is unfortunate. I also HATE when hotels put the towels RIGHT ABOVE THE TOILET, where they can get... spray. YUCK. We had a few spiders in our room, which hubby killed for me, but I did wake up with several bites from something, although my husband did not. But right outside the back door we used to enter and exit was a huge pile of old MATTRESSES and box springs! (Pic below; it's rather dark). It looked SO trashy and was an open invitation for rodents to nest! Also a dumpster was right outside our room. The breakfast was not like what was described on the site: no biscuits and gravy, etc.. Just sad, dry reconstituted eggs and greasy bacon. We ate out everyday after looking at it.
