Liked: Welcoming greeting from Michael, nice room with everything you needed, towels, toiletries and nice little touches/extras-hand/body lotion, chocolates and biscuits left out for you. Good breakfast, options for cereal, fruit, yoghurt, cooked breakfast Michael was very helpful with bus routes and local walks

Excellent host and breakfast.

Liked: A great host where nothing was too much trouble, and an equally great cooked breakfast. I loved the paraphernalia with everything from toy cars and trucks on wall shelves to model Tintin's, which gave it a homely, nostalgic feel.
Disliked: As someone who struggles with sleep, the mattress was a tad hard for me, but it's only a moot point as it,s impossible for a landlord to accommodate every need.

Liked: Comfortable room, with lots of space. Host was welcoming and good to talk to at breakfast. Really liked it! Perfect location for hiking local peaks Cat Bells, Skiddaw and Walla Crag.

Liked: The property was within walking distance from Keswick, which was a definite bonus. We were both made to feel very welcome by Michael and our stay was outstanding. Accommodation, facilities and breakfast were lovely. Our room was very comfortable, spotlessly clean, making our stay perfect.
Disliked: There was nothing to dislike about the property, simply perfect.
